Colposcopy is an examination where a special magnifying instrument - a colposcope - is used to magnify your cervix for a closer look. This may be recommended if you have had an abnormal Pap smear, or if your cervix looks abnormal. See the Patient Resources page for links to more information and videos about colposcopy.
We see patients in the Colposcopy Clinic, located on the first floor of Whitehorse General Hospital, after they are referred by their health care provider.
